착용동사(wearing verb)

In today’s class, we learned how to express the impression of various outfits along with expressions.

We used different verbs depending on the item when describing the outfit.

In other words, ‘선글라스(sunglasses)’ used ‘쓰다’, ‘청바지(jeans)’ used ‘입다’, and ‘운동화(sneakers)’ used ‘신다’. In Korean, you have to use the appropriate wearing verb depending on what item you wear. In addition to what we learned in this class, there are many different wearing verbs that we want to introduce here.

Examples

1) 미세먼지가 심하니까 마스크를 쓰세요.

2) 날씨가 추우니까 장갑을 꼭 끼세요.

3) 오늘은 넥타이를 매고 회사에 갔어요.

4) 저 가방이 유행이어서 메고 다니는 사람이 많아요.
