Whether you just release your results to your colleagues or publish more widely, publication is a vital part of the research process.

Commercial considerations may limit what you publish, but many would suggest that as a scholar-practitioner, you have an ethical obligation to publish. One place that managers can publish is in a practitioner journal.

Sometimes called a trade journal. It is published for and by the people who are practicing in a discipline. Often for the members of a Guild, association, or union.

The articles will have a more hands on approach to the discipline. In your case, that might be a management journal or one related to your profession or industry.
