  • Getting involved means to share our thoughts, ideas and encouraging other people to comment on same.In this way we can create a new way of learning and to connect with people all around the globe. The diversity in ideas shared by people coming from different social background and status make learning a happier process.

  • First of all we want to acknowledge all stakeholders about the benefits that will be yielded by following sustainable practices in construction sector. Lack of understanding & clarity about sustainable development is the key problem that we facing in this sector. Also govt should take necessary steps to promote sustainability and continuously monitor the status.

  • Although child labour is prohibited in majority of countries it not properly implemented or monitored. Also in case of women's ,they are not provided with proper facilities in construction site and very low payed compared to men. This gender discrimination should avoided completely to achieve sustainability in this sector

  • In some part of our country social sustainability is very least bothered, workers are not provided with safe working environment and companies will not lookafter them if any accident occur

  • Yes,true. In our country eventhough the govt has fixed min wages to workers in construction sector in majority of sites the labour supply contractor provide them with low wages and making large profit.

  • It give me a clear-cut idea about adolescents and their mental and social development

  • Hello everyone,
My profession is not related to this topic but this topic seems to be interesting to me.

  • I think all PYD frameworks helps adolescents in one way or other in their social & emotional development. We would choose one which seems to be more effective through trial & error method. In my opinion I think 5C approach will be more effective.

  • I think government should take intiatation to effectively bring out economic sustainability in construction sector. The private sector should follow up the measures provided by the government by adopting sustainable materials and using new technologies.

  • Bim offers project managers tools that can reduce errors, manage their teams and resources more effectively. It also help us to create and stick to budgets and schedules.

  • I like pattern in which the course is structured. Its easy to understand and get clear-cut idea about adolescence.

  • Since I'm a fresher to this industry I think, apart from the academic training we should emphasis more on practical knowledge to improve our skills.

  • Adoption of new technologies like self cleaning concrete used in Jubilee church in Rome, which help to reduce the pollution caused during manufacturing of concrete to some extend.

  • Yes,ofcourse by recycling the materials and by replacing existing natural resources by less carbon footprint alternatives.eg use of flyash and steel slag in concrete with added strength and waste reduction
