The last session I had on quality management was during my professional review which qualifies me as a Chartered Construction Manager with CIOB (MCIOB). It was an insightful experience as I was able to identify scenarios of quality challenges on some of my projects, application of knowledge to address issues or to mitigate risk in quality and lessons learnt.

Yes, it is definitely possible to increase output using less materials to lessen the burden on natural environment. More so, personnel with appropriate expertise and skills should be considered or engaged in the use of these natural resources to avoid trial and error which in most cases result to wastages.

I believe that the construction industry should create global awareness of the deconstruction of sustainability into the three pillars of environmental, social and economic. The understanding of people about sustainability is mostly environmental. Social and economic aspect of it should be rooted as well.
