Wish I could have fit more in. There is just so much rich history to immersive technology - the 19th C panoramas for sure. Alas, word counts get in the way!

That's a great question - it would be a v interesting area for further research - perhaps even a longitudinal study. The counter argument is that immersion could also unleash more imagination, or be a fantastic source of creative inspiration. Certainly fascinating stuff
