Transcript

Learning outcomes

  • Identify climate hazards and projections across the whole-life of critical infrastructure and review methods for their assessment, including life cycle assessment, whole-life carbon emissions and societal and environmental impact assessment.
  • Deploy appropriate tools such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) for infrastructure decision-making.
  • Carry out risk, resilience and sustainability assessments of assets and systems of assets for decision-making.
  • Apply efficient infrastructure adaptation and mitigation strategies proactively and reactively to improve climate resilience.
  • Select appropriate technologies, platforms and data processing algorithms for improving the prognosis and diagnosis of deteriorated infrastructure to climate hazards.
