Transforming Energy Systems: Why Governance Matters
Energy systems need to change rapidly if we are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with domestic and international targets. This course set out the challenges energy systems face and the problems with conventional governance. It argued for principles of governance to enable rapid, fair decarbonisation and system transformation. It explored the implications for people, companies, localities and institutions and it put forward a fit-for-purpose governance framework.
