Explore First Nations and global perspectives of Young Adult Literature

This is the final of four courses that make up the ENGL3665: Young Adult Literature program. The program focuses on popular, speculative, and realist young adult (YA) literature and other YA texts that engage with and shift dominant narratives of the world. In particular, it examines how human relationships with their environment are storied in YA genres.

I am a senior lecturer in Screens, Languages, English and Writing at the University of Newcastle. I have Murri heritage and teach and research in the areas of Australian and Aboriginal literature.
