Explore the tension between ‘isolationism’ and 'internationalism'.

Over these three weeks, we will explore two decades that stand large in US folklore and popular culture for widely different reasons. Try as many might in America at this time, the country could also not remain immune from the goings-on in the world. We will explore the rise of fascism and America’s increasing interests around the world.

In addition to learning about the 20s and 30s, we will also develop your academic skills in American history. We will look at research, writing and podcasting.
