Defining Research and Searching the Literature
We research everyday using the internet to gain information about certain topics (e.g. Statistics of Covid 19). We research when we are studying on an academic course, for this we do the following to obtain information:
- Ask experts
- Review books, articles and other literature
- Question/observe colleagues
- Use past experience
- For some intuition is also used
However the scientific research process is completely different, it is original work, which aims to solve problems and answer questions.
