Given the continued lack of gender balance in leadership roles, there is a need to provide females with the tools, strategies, and best practices to support them in their leadership endeavours. This microcredential will do just that.

It will help you gain practical skills to apply in your leadership role as a female such as; building team trust, presence, and influence whilst also addressing challenges unique to women in leadership roles.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the context in which you work, your leadership influence, and your individualised leadership style. With this knowledge, you’ll learn how to build on your skills and experience to develop a strong leadership brand.

Unpack leadership challenges for women

As you delve into the leadership environment for women, you’ll discover the different leadership challenges women face, such as the glass ceiling.

Developing your influencing skills, you’ll learn how to motivate employees and lead high-performing teams. You’ll also cover how biases and cognition can impact a leader’s perceived image and how to tackle these biases whilst maintaining personal and professional integrity.

Create your leadership development plan

This microcredential will enhance your self-awareness and ability to apply theories and tools to your own practice in leadership, allowing you to build on your current job or potentially step into a new leadership role.
