Certificate of Achievement
has completed the following course:
The Discovery of the Higgs Boson
This online course explored the constituents of the Standard Model and their interactions. Starting with basic concepts of classical mechanics, it introduced Quantum Mechanics and Relativity, leading to a review of advanced topics, such as Quantum Electrodynamics, Quantum Chromodynamics and the Weak theory. Finally, the course presented the experimental discovery of the Higgs boson, and analysed its significance in understanding the Universe, ranging from the microscopic scale to Cosmology.
