This course covered topics on big data management using RHadoop. It was run as hands-on training on a virtual machine with Hadoop, R and RStudio preinstalled. All methods were demonstrated with many examples. The big data files and related R code for the Map/Reduce tasks and final computations was provided. During the course the learners got access to a high performance computer at the University of Ljubljana where they could experiment with bigger data files.
