Certificate of Achievement
has completed the following course:
Sustainability: Energy Transition
University of Canterbury
The course defined climate change and looked into which actions have influenced emission reductions in the past. The concepts of a carbon budget and the constraints related to oil supply and production were introduced, as well as the challenges and constraints related to a transition to renewable energy. The concept of Energy Returned on Energy Invested was illustrated and we learned how this could help in comparing the profitability of different energy sources.
