Microcredentials
1 Microcredential

Our online microcredentials are designed to upskill you for work in rapidly-growing industries, without the time and cost commitment of a full degree. They can be used as an independent certification, and some even offer academic credit to use towards a degree. Each microcredential also includes a formal online assessment.

Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month with us

Pride is about promoting the equality, self-affirmation and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people, by creating a community and safe space for people to be who they are.

Celebrated in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots which instigated an international gay rights movement, Pride Month is a time to honour and call for the increased equality and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people around the world. This year marks an incredible five decades of supporting LGBTQIA+ people as we celebrate Pride’s 50th anniversary.

At FutureLearn, we’re proud to offer an array of online courses designed to educate, inform, and start vital conversations around LGBTQIA+ inequality, diversity and inclusion.

With thought-provoking courses from renowned global brands like Tommy Hilfiger and world-class educational institutions like the University of Michigan, we invite learners everywhere to join the conversation and learn what work still needs to be done before we become a truly inclusive and diverse global community.

Join courses inspiring global change

As an organisation we’ve seen the power social learning has to instigate real change and we’re committed to championing gay rights education.

When you join a FutureLearn course, you join a diverse global community that creates space for you to have your say. Our social learning platform is designed for you to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with like-minded diversity champions and experts in the course comments.

Good teaching should do more than impart knowledge, it should inspire change. This Pride Month, the change we’re fighting for is increased love, understanding, and commitment to equality for LGBTQIA+ people everywhere.

Start courses today that can help you play your part. For more on Pride’s origins, what’s happening this year, and why it’s so important, check out our Pride blog post.
