Study the global movement and storage of freight

This short course focuses on the global aspects of logistics. Following a critical review of freight transport and international shipping, you will have the chance to examine logistics service providers and warehousing in global supply chain management.

The course identifies the various modes of transportation in logistics operations and examines what criteria should be used when selecting a mode of transport.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about warehousing activities and challenges, and the two types of logistics service providers who often run and organise warehousing operations.
