Global Market Search: Determining Global Market Opportunities
In the previous short course, you explored globalisation and focused on choosing a company and assessing its internal environment. The purpose of this short course is to assist you with choosing at least two countries as prospective new markets into which you will expand your product or service.
Against the backdrop of a shifting global economic landscape, you will explore emerging markets and their significance in global business today, examining two key markets and analysing the attractions and challenges an organisation needs to consider when operating in them. The content and activities will help you to develop an understanding of the economic changes in markets across the globe, together with an insight into the types of challenges that lie ahead for any organisation that wishes to expand in a foreign market.
You will use business analysis tools and databases to identify the best countries for expansion of your product/service. By assessing different country characteristics, you will identify a maximum of two countries with the highest market potential for your chosen company.
