Welcome to week 2

In week 2, we introduce you to ‘a day in the life’ of a few individuals (personas) and you will explore the challenges they face when studying. You will meet:

  • Lars who is studying for a full-time campus-based computer science course

  • Mary who is studying for a part-time campus-based course in statistics

  • Alexander who is studying for a part-time distance learning Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree

  • Anna who is studying fashion and textile design

This week you will discover …

  • how technology can help us to communicate in an inclusive way

  • how libraries are no longer just repositories for books and that they can unlock the world of accessible etexts which can make learning and teaching more inclusive

  • how to help students actively engage in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects

  • how creative courses are increasingly using technology to support students in exciting new ways
