This four-week course will teach you how to set common goals, improve team communication, and delve into performance markers to better understand the needs of your team.

You’ll learn how to create a shared vision and the best practices to communicate it effectively within your team to ensure you are working towards the same aims.

Learn how to motivate people

Setting effective targets and expectations is vital for enabling your team to achieve a shared vision.

You’ll learn the ways you can motivate your team to progress towards common objectives.

Understand performance drivers across cultures

You’ll also examine the most important needs and drivers of performance across cultures to understand what will inspire your team.

In order to motivate your team to achieve shared objectives, you’ll learn how to align rewards with desired behaviours.

      This activity focuses on creating and communicating your vision. You also take a look at what success looks like.

    • A Checklist for Creating and Communicating Your Vision

      This activity provides a checklist for creating and communicating your vision. You will also have an example of how to effectively communicate your vision.

    • Application: Developing a Vision for Your Team

      In this activity you will work on developing a vision for your team. you will also take a deeper dive into how to create a vision for your team.

    • The importance of non-verbals in communicating your vision

      In this activity you will learn about verbal and non verbal communication. You will also learn about the importance of non-verbals in communicating your vision

    Setting Effective Goals and Expectations

    • Goal Setting and Performance

      This activity focuses on goal setting and performance. You will also learn about risk for stretch goals and learn about smart goals

      This activity focueses on SMART Goals. You will learn risk and rewards of SMART goals.

    • Creating Goals that Drive Motivation

      This activity focuses on creating goals that drive motivation. You will learn about how to make these goals meanigful and use the SMART goals framework to make them more effectively

  • Week 3

    Understanding Human Needs and Drivers of Performance Across Cultures

      In this activity you will learn about differen drivers of performance and motivation at work.

      In this activity you will focus on human needs and work motivation. You will learn the difference between different types of motivations.

    • Motivation Traps

      In this activity you will learn about four differnt motivation traps

  • Week 4

    Aligning Rewards and Behavior

    • Using Rewards and Feedback to Drive Behavior

      In this activity you will learn on how to use rewards and feedback to drive behavior.

    • Effective Performance Appraisal

      This activity focuses on performance appraisal and how to effectively conduct performance appraisal

    • Effective Feedback

      This activity focuses on art of effective feedback, on how it could help make or break an organization. There will also be examples provided.
