What does leadership look like in a globalised world?

This course looks at the current trends in leadership, including inclusivity, diversity and sustainability. You will have the chance to discuss the key qualities and competencies required by international leaders and the challenges of globalisation, and assess the relevant skills and mindset that leaders need to be powerful drivers of corporate sustainability.

  • The inclusion model and its various levels
  • Barriers to diversity and inclusion
  • Gender and leadership; and the glass ceiling problem.
  • Sustainability
  • The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)
  • Ethical leadership
  • Moral development models

  • Evaluate current leadership practice in international organisations
  • Demonstrate understanding of diversity and inclusion and their implications

  • Understand some gender issues in light of leadership, such as glass ceiling
  • Apply the PRME framework
  • Demonstrate understanding of various ethical leadership theories and moral philosophies/models
