Explore different approaches to leadership
This course provides an opportunity to look at leaders you know and see how different theories and approaches can be applied to them, helping you to recognise various leadership approaches and appreciate its different forms.
You will also have the chance to review the main leadership approaches, examine the strengths and weaknesses of each and reflect on them in the context of your own experience. Building on this analysis, you will also explore how these different approaches can be applied to different international organisational scenarios.

- Early theories of leadership: Traits, Style and Skills approaches.
- Contingency theories of leadership
- Situational leadership
- Path goal theory
- Fielder contingency approach
- Your leadership style under the path-goal theory
