The first course in this ExpertTrack is How to Create an Effective Online Learning Environment. You’ll learn how learning management systems can be used to help monitor, create, and deliver eLearning. You’ll learn how to create interactive content and improve your current online teaching strategies.
Develop student centred eLearning content
The second part of this ExpertTrack is How to Facilitate a Learner Centred Online Learning Environment. You’ll explore how to design and deliver online learning that is engaging, exciting, and places your students and their learning outcomes at the centre of every activity.
Throughout this ExpertTrack, you’ll explore how online technologies and tools can be used to enhance teaching strategies and frameworks. Experience required
This ExpertTrack is designed for teachers working from early childhood right through to higher education who need to develop their online teaching and learning skills as a response to the continued need for online and blended learning environments. Prior experience in teaching in an online environment may be useful although is not a prerequisite.

This course is aimed at primary and secondary educators, including trainee teachers, newly qualified teachers, and experienced teachers. It is also suitable for educators in senior leadership roles with responsibility for improving online provision in their school.

I am a lecturer at Wintec Pūkenga located in Hamilton, New Zealand. I manage the Grad Dip of IT in Education programme which provides professional development for teachers in the integration of ICT.
I have been a classroom teacher for over 18 years, mainly digital with 1:1 devices. I am a tutor for te Pukenga: integrating IT in Education. I am also a mentor in mathematics with IT integration.
I am an ICT Specialist Teacher and eLearning leader in a large primary school. I also develop and facilitate online post-graduate courses for practicing teachers with Wintec/Te Pūkenga.
