This microcredential consists of four mandatory examinations, three that are computer-based and one that is synoptic. The exams will cover the following topics:

To help you prepare for these assessments, e-Careers offers revision sessions through their live, online classes, and practice tests on the units being assessed.
Please note that assessment fees are not included in the cost of the programme and AAT exams will be held at separate exam centres.

Are you eligible for this microcredential?
There are no formal entry requirements to join this microcredential, and no prior experience in accounting or finance is necessary to complete the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. However, you must be at least 16 years old or have parental/guardian consent if you are not currently of this age.
This course is also taught entirely in English, so it’s essential to have a strong understanding of the English language to be able to complete it successfully. It is also recommended you are comfortable with basic-level maths.
