The main benefit of studying online is that students are able to study at their own pace, from just one unit per trimester up to four units per trimester (which is equivalent to full-time study). UNE is a world-leader in distance education, and staff are highly experienced in helping students all over the world study this way.
International students can also apply for bursaries to study degrees online. UNE offers eligible commencing international students a bursary in the form of a 20% fee reduction of the published 2025 annual international tuition fees for their first year of study. Terms and conditions apply.
