Plan and develop your leadership behaviour

The aim of this program is to develop your knowledge and understanding of leadership. Over the course of the program, you will have the opportunity to assess your leadership behaviours and potential in the context of organisational working practices and cultures.

You’ll examine effective leadership and management of human capital, and leadership as a factor of organisational success within an international context. You will also have the chance to explore factors that influence leadership styles or behaviours in workplace situations and how they can affect teams.

Who will you learn with?

A lecturer in Coventry University’s School of Strategy and Leadership. Navami Leena’s research interests are in leadership, public health, health policies, healthcare leadership and management.

Mahda is a lecturer in business strategy at Coventry University’s School of Strategy and Leadership. Mahda's research interests are BDA capability, digital transformation and organizational capability

Dr Alim Abubakre is on the advisory board of London Business School’s Africa Club. He did his doctoral studies on CSR and strategy at Southampton University.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, you should be able to:

  • Critically evaluate theoretical approaches to responsible leadership

  • Examine the relationship between international leadership and management and discuss the roles of leaders and managers in achieving organisational objectives

  • Identify and analyse leadership styles and skills in the context of international organisations
