On this program, you will cover topics such as analysing the return on investments and understanding the effect of real and inflation rates in investment. You will learn about the relationship between risk and return and their importance to investing and capital budgeting. You will also examine financial statements and corporate decision making.
Who will you learn with?
I am a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Open University and lead its MSc in Finance. My research is on the financing of innovative businesses, venture capital and frictions in financial markets.
I am a Chartered Accountant who, before moving into teaching, worked in the real estate investment and development sector. I have also been a director on a number of investment funds.
