This course is designed to help practitioners who come into contact with victims of domestic violence and abuse to provide them with effective support. Learners reflect on the impact for the victims and their families and are shown how to recognise the various forms of violence and abuse. Learners practise starting a conversation about DVA and develop practical skills for supporting victims including, recording information, safety planning and referring victims to appropriate services.
