Develop an understanding of decision-making in a management context

This course aims to promote an understanding of decision-making in a management context. You will have the opportunity to examine the theoretical knowledge underpinning decision-making and develop skills for problem-solving and influencing others in the workplace.

The course will consider aspects of bias in decision-making from psychological and sociological perspectives. Using decision-making approaches, you will have the chance to interpret data, along with assessing the risk associated with each decision.

This course also seeks to assist with making effective, efficient and strategic decisions.

I am an Associate Professor (Principal Lecturer) of Supply Chain Management, Subject Leader in Operations Management and Director of the Transnational Research Degree (TNRD) Programme at SSL/FBL.
