You’ll learn a glimpse of digital health and how healthcare professionals embrace ICT for healthcare. You’ll explore the backbone of digital health, hardware and software in building digital health systems and understand the impact of digital health in improving user experience and increasing healthcare quality.

Assess gaps and opportunities in digital health

This course guides you to a few core digital health applications that can improve healthcare delivery through digital health. You’ll then discuss the issues and challenges of the applications and their opportunities to improve healthcare outcomes.

Discover cognitive and privacy perspective in digital health

On this two-week course, you’ll learn about cognitive science and privacy from the perspective of digital health.

You’ll learn how cognitive science in digital health can offer a framework for analyzing and modelling complicated human performance. It has a wide range of applications in digital health. You’ll also discuss how ethics and privacy from a digital health perspective can protect patient information and privacy.

    Assess Gaps and Opportunities for the improvements of Healthcare delivery through Digital Health

    • Clinical Data as basis for Digital Health Systems

      The first section establishes the information and knowledge of clinical data. Clinical data and documentation are the basis of any Digital Health systems.

    • Gaps and Opportunities in Digital Health

      Learners will be exposed to the Paper-based health record and how the idea of transformation to Electronic Health Records occurs. Learners will learn about the functional part of EHR followed by data capturing aspects.

    • Cognitive and Privacy Perspective in Digital Health

      Every system that is created need the consideration of cognitive and privacy perspective.
