Diverse worldviews

When you have knowledge of diverse worldview frameworks, including those based on culture, you can understand the elements important to diverse others including values, assumptions, and beliefs. Diverse people vary in political systems, religions, faith traditions, economies, sports, languages, holidays, music, and art - to list only a few differences.

Variation in worldviews may also include concepts of self, patterns of handling emotions, courtship practices, facial expressions, notions of modesty, nature of friendships, attitudes towards elders, and patterns of decision making.

The assignment for this step is to first conduct a Google search for “images cultural iceberg theory”. Next review the different images and select a few images that you like best. Now study these images and notice the differences between the aspects of culture above the water line and below the water line. From the multiple images of cultural iceberg theory, evaluate which image is best at helping you to understand the cultural iceberg theory.
