Work

In thermodynamics we like to define energy as the capacity of system to perform work. Most people starting to study thermodynamics are familiar with the concept of work from mechanics or physics. In this article expressions for work associated with movement of piston in a cylinder and shaft rotation as well as electrical work are developed.
