Week 1
An Introduction to Microsoft Office 365 for Educators
Welcome to the course
In this activity you will meet the Lead Educator for the course, and gain an overview of the course content, structure, and learning outcomes.
What is Microsoft 365 for Education?
In this activity you will gain an overview of Microsoft 365, and learn about some features of cloud-based apps and storage.
Week 2
Online Storage & Creating Documents
Online Storage
In this activity you will learn about the features of OneDrive (your personal online storage) and SharePoint (the online equivalent of a shared network drive), and how to save, copy, move, and delete online files.
Creating and Managing Documents
In this activity you will learn how to create and manage online documents, and to share and work collaboratively on documents.
Week 3
Sharing Documents & Working online
Sharing Documents
Learn how to share documents with colleagues and students using OneDrive and SharePoint, and the pros and cons of each method.
Working online
Learn about some of the benefits of working online such as document auto-save, version history, recycle bin, and co-authoring.
Week 4
Office 365 online apps
Office 365 online apps
Learn about some of the apps included in Office 365 including apps to support learning and teaching, and apps to help you and your organisation work more efficiently and effectively.

- Apply an understanding of Office Online to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations using a web browser
- Demonstrate an understanding of the range of Accessibility tools within Office 365 to support various learning needs.
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for teachers who currently use or plan to use Microsoft Office 365 in their role as an educator.
You should have some teaching experience but don’t need any prior knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
