AskPCOS, a personal advisor on PCOS

Developed by the leading PCOS experts from around the world and co-designed with women with PCOS, AskPCOS is the first app dedicated to the condition of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) that is based on the best available evidence.

AskPCOS is for women and girls who think they may have PCOS, those who already have a diagnosis, and for those supporting women with PCOS. AskPCOS is essential for women and girls wanting the best available information about PCOS and complements the range of PCOS Translation and Education Resources that have also been made available by Monash University.

Many practitioners suggest to their patients to use the AskPCOS to support their ongoing care

A key aim of the AskPCOS is to empower women with PCOS and to act as an adjunct for self-management. AskPCOS provides a platform for women to set behaviour change goals and to monitor their progress against entered biomedical data such as BMI. In addition, AskPCOS has a question prompt list that optimises health professional/patient interaction.

When discussing AskPCOS with your patients, direct them to download AskPCOS from the App Store (Apple iPhone) or get AskPCOS from Google Play (Android) for their mobile device.
