Government Digital and Data
About
Government Digital and Data is now live on FutureLearn, in partnership with the Government Digital Service (GDS), part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). Together, we’re helping build the right conditions for digital, data and technology transformation across government — working closely with departments and functions such as commercial, project delivery and security.
Our mission is to make a selection of high-quality online learning from across the UK Civil Service available to the wider public sector, and to anyone in the UK or globally who wants to develop their digital and data skills. We’ve structured our courses into two levels:
Getting Started
Awareness level introductory courses, aimed at people who are new to these areas or for those who have some knowledge, but would like to learn more about these roles within government.
Developing Further
Courses that follow and expand on key concepts introduced in the ‘Getting Started’ introductory courses.
