Prepare for your final term research project
This program will help you prepare for your final term project. You will have the opportunity to examine theoretical perspectives, research strategies, and associated methodologies in business and management research. You will have the opportunity to learn how to formulate good research questions, using different methods of data collection and data analysis, and critically evaluate the research. Practical aspects will also be covered including how to plan, organise, present and write-up a research proposal, and structure and present a dissertation.

Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion, you should be able to:
- Understand various approaches and methods in management research and be able to distinguish between poor and well-founded research project proposals
- Understand the key concepts involved in developing a research proposal and how they interrelate in a complementary way to form a coherent research proposal
- Undertake a critical review of the literature in the chosen subject area prior to framing the research question
- Formulate a set of research question and objectives
- Critically compare alternative research techniques and evaluate their uses and limitations
- Prepare a research proposal which reflects utility and which demonstrates an understanding of validity, reliability and generalisation.
