Finance in Management and Leadership

Explore the interpretation of financial information and examine a variety of theoretical financial concepts.

This program is part of the BA Management and Leadership degree offered by Coventry University

Investigate how financial analysis informs an organisation’s strategy and options

Managers need to understand the crucial role played by finance in achieving high levels of organisational efficiency. This program aims to introduce you to an organisation’s main financial statements and other financial information used in decision making.

The program emphasises the interpretation of financial information. A manager or leader may be required to monitor and measure the performance of their organisation. Being able to undertake and evaluate this kind of financial analysis of business performance means that managers can make informed decisions to achieve organisational success.
