What will the final assessment course involve?

The final assessment course tests the knowledge and skills you have gained in the two Management and Leadership courses on FutureLearn, Planning your Personal Development and Welfare and Well-being at Work. Once registered for the CMI Award, you will be given access to Management Direct, CMI’s online learning resource portal, which contains additional resources to support you in completing your assignment.

There will be one assignment, which will require you to summarise your understanding of this program and your impact in the workplace. The guideline word count is between 3,000 to 3,500 words.

How will I know if I have passed?

Within 8-10 weeks of submitting your assignment, it will be marked by a CMI tutor and you will be informed if you have passed or not, complete with constructive and developmental feedback on your submission. If you have not successfully passed first time, you will be offered one further opportunity to resubmit.

Please note, all marked assignments are subject to external moderation by the CMI’s Awarding Body. Up to three further weeks should be allowed, before final qualification is awarded and your certificate issued.

Accreditation

The two courses and final assessment in this program are equivalent to the CMI unit 5001V1 Introduction to Management and Leadership.
