Earn a CMI Level 5 Award – the next step to Chartered Manager status

Chartered Manager is the highest status you can achieve in the management profession. Thousands of managers are already working towards Chartered status, as proof of their ability to lead people and manage change.

Now you can take your next step towards becoming a Chartered Manager with this program of online courses from The Open University Business School and the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).

Once you complete this program and pass the final assessment course, you’ll earn a CMI Level 5 Award. If you also complete and pass the Management and Leadership, Essentials program, you’ll earn another CMI Level 5 Award. Together, these two awards will give you a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership – the next step to Chartered Manager status.

Accessible for free on desktop, tablet or mobile and delivered in bite-sized chunks, these two courses provide a flexible way to enhance your management skills and demonstrate your continuing professional development (CPD).

Courses and assessment

To get an award you will need to upgrade all courses on this program, then qualify for a Certificate of Achievement on each course. To qualify you need to do at least 90% of each course and score an average of 70% or above on any tests.

Once you have qualified for a Certificate of Achievement on every course you will be able to take a final assessment course. Pass the final assessment course to earn a CMI Level 5 Award - the next step to Chartered Manager status.

This program will require 8 weeks of learning, plus 12 weeks of assessment. The total cost for the courses is $188. You will also need to pay £250.00 GBP to take the assessment.
