This unit will develop your capacity to become a property developer by exploring the development process for both residential and commercial properties. It will evaluate the various procurement options available to you and how market research strategies may inform your investment decisions.
Exploring the characteristics and qualities of building materials, it will review sustainable property developments and how this can inform the promotion and sale of commercial property development. Through the application of different scenarios, you will explore how property development is informed by many factors including land for development, planning systems, HBUA, and marketing and promotion.
