This course enabled primary teachers to use human spaceflight as a context for learning in science, maths and design and technology. There was an emphasis on practical activities, mapping space to the primary curriculum, and careers relating to the space industry. Cross-curricular links were also explored. Participants shared ideas, explored classroom resources and mapped space as a context across the primary curriculum, as evidence for the Space Education Quality Mark.
