Certificate of Achievement

IBRAHIM ABDULLAH MOHAMMED MASHNI

has completed the following course:

How To Make A Poem

Manchester Metropolitan University

This course explored what inspires poetry, how we write poems and how to tell when your poem is finished. The course considered different poetic forms such as found poetry, the cento, sonnets, free verse, ghazals, as well as things to help writers make formal choices such as line breaks, metre, rhyme, and rhythm. Through new writing exercises and techniques, learners developed their own ‘voice’ in their poems and collaborated on each other’s work to reflect on and improve it.
