To help orientate students to study at university in an English speaking context, the qualities and behaviours of a successful university student were presented and explored. Key concepts and terms related to university study were investigated to enhance understanding of expectations at higher education institutions. Students also developed their dictionary skills to support independent learning, improve their pronunciation, and increase their vocabulary range for the academic context.
