As you watch, consider some of the following in preparation for the warm-up exercise on the next step.

• Consider the strengths and weaknesses of the incident management team. Think particularly about how they tried to engage clinicians and their attempts at measuring compliance with good practice.
• Were there any deficiencies in infection control and clinical practice, and drivers for resistance.
• The prescribing issues that may be worthy of investigation and the strengths and weaknesses of the response to the outbreak.
