Learn to read, write, speak and understand French with King’s College London
This course is ideal for anyone looking to visit a French-speaking country for leisure, or study and exchange programme purposes.
Using a communicative approach in your online classroom sessions, you’ll be well-versed in speaking, reading, listening to and writing the French language by the end of the two-week course.
Get tips for learning to speak French
Suitable even for those with no prior experience, you’ll gain both cultural competency and an understanding of the French language throughout the course.
You’ll also cover some of the basics so that you can strike up a simple conversation with and understand native French speakers in a social environment.

The Modern Language Centre at King’s College London employs over 100 teaching staff who are native speakers of the languages in which they teach.

Who will you learn with?
Native French speaker. Graduated from the Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand (France) with an MA in International Trade and Modern Languages. I have 20 years of experience in teaching French.
Cyril has 9 years of experience in teaching French and joined King’s College London in 2018, where he is teaching assessed language modules as well as Postgraduate-only classes.
