Skip to 0 minutes and 6 secondsWe hope that you've enjoyed the second week of the class Metabolomics, Understanding Metabolism in the 21st Century. In this week we have discussed the multi-disciplinary approaches applied in metabolomics and highlighted case studies from some of the researchers and students based at the University of Birmingham. We hope that this has provided you with insight into the work that is performed within the metabolomics field. Next week we will look at how we measure the metabolome. We will start with experimental design and then discuss the application of direct infusion mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry to study the metabolome. Please continue to discuss the topics from this week, and let us know any questions that you may have.
