In the last video you heard from the actors playing Desdemona and Emilia in the RSC’s 2015 production of the play.
You might want to extend your research by looking at accounts from other actors of playing these roles.
Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre staged Othello in 2007, directed by Wilson Milam. Staged in Jacobean costume, the production was filmed, and is available on DVD. In this production Desdemona was played by Zoe Tapper. Here she discusses the process of playing the role in a series of rehearsal blogs.
Nicholas Hytner’s production of Othello (available on NT Live) was produced at the National Theatre in 2013. The setting was contemporary, with the early Venetian scenes set in London and the last four acts in a foreign military base with grey portacabins surrounded by a high concrete wall topped with barbed wire.
How do these actors’ accounts of playing Desdemona and Emilia compare to those of Joanna Vanderham and Ayesha Dharker?
