Preparing to read extra material about the origins of life

Put yourself in the position of an undergraduate student, having heard the origins of life lecture from week 1, but now you need to supplement the information with your own reading. In the following step you will find a paragraph at the following paragraph which would add to the information from the Origins of Life lecture.

Before approaching the paragraph, think about the questions you had following the lecture. Think about what else you might like to learn about.

Ask yourself;

  • Why am I reading this?

  • What do I want or need to gain from reading it?

  • How am I going to get the most out of it in the shortest amount of time?
