Skip to 0 minutes and 6 seconds PADDY UPTON: Turning the mirror inwards to look at ourselves can be uncomfortable and challenging. But if we think of ourselves as instruments of leadership, then we’ll come to see self-awareness as the single most important quality of leadership success. Fine tuning our leadership requires a journey of personal mastery, a journey that might require us to let go of some previously held behaviours, beliefs, values, or intentions. Hello. I’m Paddy Upton from Deakin University. And in this free two week course we’ll explore core personal values and determine how these may impact your coaching. We’ll investigate strategies to enhance self-awareness and discover how self-awareness helps you become a more effective coach or leader.
