Summary of Week 1

We hope you enjoyed the first week of the course. You should now have a basic understanding of what social science is and how social science research methods can help you to understand important contextual factors that may influence antimicrobial stewardship activities in practice.

Next week we will focus on providing some specific examples of research studies using the following social science based approaches to tackle AMR: realist reviews, qualitative methodology, and ethnography.
