Bringing it all together

Bringing it all together.

Now that you have seen some of the stages that you should go through when embarking on a research project, we will finish this week by giving you the chance to bring together what we have discussed in this course.

Your task

Write a draft proposal to investigate your research question.
You will find that the information you have captured in previous tasks helpful in identifying the following:
  • The general problem that you wish to address
  • A stakeholder analysis of those affected by your problem
  • An analysis of exogenous factors that affect your problem
  • The impact that your proposed research will have
  • The refined objective of your research proposal
  • The research questions or hypotheses that will help you reach this objective
  • Your proposed data collection methodology and methods
  • Your proposed analytical techniques
Bring all of these together and share it in the comments section. When you have done this take a moment to read and comment on the plans that your fellow learners have put together.
Try to make your comments apply to the following areas:
  • The clarity and coherence introduced of the research proposal along with the strength of the justification.
  • The analysis and whether internal and external factors have been comprehensively analysed.
  • Whether the presented strategy is realistic to carry out research to address the research objectives.
